Volunteers Needed for a Work Day at Park Road
We are calling upon the help of the local community once more to help us get Park Road in ship-shape condition
There is a work day at Park Road Stadium on Sunday 18th October to finish off some jobs and we would like your help if you are free that morning.
Starting at 10.00am we will require help with the following tasks:
- clearing the car park of any stones (that could be used as missiles)
- removal of the advertising boards from the pitch perimeter
- disposal of said boards to the local recycling centre
- the perimeter barrier made good where necessary
- cutting back of grass from hard-standing area around the pitch
If you are able to attend then it would be great if you could bring the following tools with you:
- wheelbarrows
- rakes
- shovels
- edging tools
- spades
- screwdrivers
- pliers
- pincers
- estate/crossover/4x4 cars (to transport boards)
Many, many thanks if you can offer your help.
Volunteers Needed at Park Road This Sunday
Are you free this Sunday 2nd August in the morning? If so then you could help your local community football club and help take part in a pre-season clear-up of Park Road Stadium
As you may know the 2015-16 season starts soon and there are still a handful of manual tasks that we needed to complete in time for its start.
We would have been on-course for completion in-time were it not for the unforeseen administrative duties that we had to deal with in light of the recent, extensive amount of damage that was done to the stadium.
To that end, we are asking a major favour from our local community and/or anybody else that would like to volunteer their services for a Step 6 football club.
If you can supply yourself (obviously) and come armed with the following items (if you have them at your disposal) then we would be eternally grateful:
- lawn "strimmer" than runs on petrol
- lawn mower - again, one that runs on petrol
- a trailer for quick removal of debris
- brushes
- spades
- anything else that you think would help in a general "clean-up" operation
Come to Park Road Stadium at around 10.00am this Sunday 2nd August if you think that you can be of assistance.
Many, many thanks in advance if you can. This means a lot to us.
